I have known Greer since Kindergarten and she was always the kindest most wonderful person in any room. By going to the same elementary school and by attending many girl scout meetings, our mothers become the bestest of best friends. We grew up much too fast for our mother's tastes. I am sure it was a shock to them both that the day had finally come when Greer was getting married and was in need of a wedding photographer...
Greer moved to Indiana to plant a church. Her mother was devastated with her move across the country but this obviously God's plan because services for the church that Greer helped plant, were held at La Porte Civic Center Auditorium, which is where Greer met Andrew.
Their shared faith made them fast friends. Andrew will tell you that he noticed his deeper feelings first while Greer remained oblivious for quite some time. They both will then giggle because as soon as they figured out that they shared mutual romantic feelings it was obvious that they would marry.
They held their wedding at La Porte Civic Auditorium. The pastor who brought them together officiated at their wedding. There was not a dry eye in the auditorium as they committed their lives to faith and to one another. Their families and friends joyously celebrated their new union over the most amazing desserts.
Their colors were royal blue, blush and gold. They incorporated details such as 'Dad's sheet music' and 'Grandma's Mason Jars'. There was romantic lighting everywhere you looked. It will be a wedding and a marriage that many will look up to for many years to come.
Greer & Andrew-
Andrew even though I only got to interact with you for about 6 hours, it is clear that you and Greer share the same heart of gold. It is obvious that you both care for people immensely and have been called to serve. I pray your marriage blesses all who know you. I pray that you two always look at each other the way you did on your wedding day. I wish you all the love and adventure that this life has to offer.
With Love- Cristina Nicole
