Makayla met Chase when they were 14 years old. He was her first boyfriend. 10 years went by and then one night Chase walks into the bar that Makayla was at and she knew right then and there that she was going to marry him.

Last weekend, I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph their wedding. Makayla & Chase were married at Station House 726 in Puyallup, Washington.  White Roses & Hydrangeas filled the venue. Their colors were royal blue, and blush with hints of silver.

However, the most beautiful part of their wedding day was the endless amount of love and support that poured out from their family and friends.

Makayla wore a wedding dress from David's Bridal. It fit her perfectly and I was obsessing over the gorgeous tulle train. It also happened to be the first dress that she ever tried on.

Their ceremony was romantically lite by hanging candles and white Christmas lights. Both of their mothers ignited the unity candles which was then joined together by Makayla & Chase. There was laughter and tears from everyone who attended.

Makayla, Chase and I snapped some quick photographs while their guests enjoyed the perfect cocktail hour. Beer, Wine & all the best munchies. After all, who doesn't love an open bar?

Makayla, Chase and their wedding party made a grand entrance into the reception. The food was catered by my personal favorite Mama Stortinis who supplied the guests with a yummy salad and pasta buffet. Then the toasts happened, I have never laughed and cried so hard before.

DJ'z Mobile Music Northwest continued the party with some hilarious throwbacks to Michael Jackson and Abba's Dancing Queen.

Makayla & Chase shared their first dance under the romantic string lights. Then as the night winded down their family, friends and loved ones sent them off on their glorious honeymoon with a perfect sparkler exit.

Makayla & Chase,

I feel blessed to have met you. Your love is truly special and unique, so much so that you can just feel your connection whenever you two are together. Promise me that you will keep dating and celebrating the love that you share. Laugh often & play even more often. I wish you both all the best in this new adventure.

Love,

Cristina Nicole - Kaemere Photography & Design
